The Office of Privacy Protection & Management takes your concerns seriously. It is important for us to work together to identify privacy related-issues. Examples of privacy concerns in higher education include but are not limited to an individual:
- Accessing a student's education record when you do not have a legitimate educational interest;
- Sharing a list of students and their contact information with an outside party;
- Publicly posting grades to a class where a student's information is identifiable;
- Talking with a parent about a student when the student has not given prior written consent to do so.
